1. Information on the installation, operation and service instructions
This handbook provides the user of the appliance, means the person qualified to use it, with useful
information to work correctly and in safe conditions, as well as details for installation of the appli-
ance, its operation and its servicing. The following information must be considered as a set of in-
structions to improve, in every respect, the performance of the appliance, and above all to avoid
possible physical or material damage resulting from incorrect procedures for using the appliance
itself. In order to use the appliance correctly and safely, it is necessary to know and comply with all
the safety and operating instructions contained in this handbook. Furthermore, is necessary to com-
ply with local regulations concerning the prevention of accidents and the principles of health and
safety at the workplace.
Before using the appliance, it is mandatory to read this handbook, making sure
to understand all its parts.
The application of the contents of the handbook is mandatory and takes place
under the complete user's responsibility: operations not described in this hand-
book or, if described, carried out differently, must be considered irregular and
forbidden.
This handbook is an integral part of the appliance and must be kept close to the appliance so that
the personnel installing, servicing, operating and cleaning the appliance can have easy access to the
handbook.
The persons assigned to work on the appliance, in addition to being professionally trained in their
duties, must read this handbook paying particular attention to the rules and safety instructions,
as well as to the paragraphs relating to their competences.
The persons assigned to work on the appliance can be:
USER / QUALIFIED PERSON
He or she is a professionally trained operator in compliance with the legislation in force
in the country where the appliance is used, authorized to carry out only the operations
of switching on, using, checking the safety protections (if present), switching off the
appliance, cleaning and ordinary maintenance, in absolute compliance with the in-
structions given in this handbook. Furthermore, he or she is able to recognize and
avoid possible dangers in handling, installing, using and cleaning the appliance.
QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN
He or she is a qualified technician made available by the Dealer, or in possession of the
same level of technical and professional preparation, authorized to carry out the re-
quired technical assistance, extraordinary maintenance interventions, as well as oper-
ations, not listed in this handbook, which require specific knowledge of the appliance.
Important instructions concerning safety and technical aspects have been highlighted in this hand-
book with suitable symbols. These instructions must be compiled with to avoid any accidents, with
harmful consequences on the health of individuals and damage to objects.
WARNING!
This symbol indicates a general warning. The instructions concerning health and safety at the
workplace must be strictly and scrupulously complied with and particular care must be paid in
some specific cases.
