HOW TO MAKE BREAD
1.
Place the bread pan in position, then turn it clockwise until it clicks in the correct
position. Fix the kneader onto the drive shaft. Turn the kneader clockwise until it clicks
into place. It is recommended to fill holes with heat-resistant margarine prior to
placing the kneader, this avoids the dough to stick below the kneader and allows it
to be easily removed.
2.
Place the ingredients in the bread pan.
Usually the water or liquid substance should be added first, then add sugar, salt and
flour. Always add yeast or baking powder as the last ingredient. In case of heavy
dough with high rye or wholemeal, we advise to reverse the order of ingredients, i.e.
to add the dry yeast and flour first, and finally the liquid to get a better kneading
result.
3.
Make a small hole in the top of the flour with your finger for the yeast.
Make sure it does not come into contact with the liquid ingredients or the salt.
The maximum quantities of flour and yeast that may be used depend on the recipe.
4.
Close the lid gently and plug the power cord into a wall socket.
5.
Press the Menu button until your desired program is selected.
6.
Press the Browning button to select the desired crust colour.
7.
Press the Weight button to select the desired size (500 g or 750 g).
8.
Set the delay time by pressing Time
want the bread maker to start operating immediately.
9.
Press the Start/Stop button to start the operation.
10. For programs requiring add-ins (fruits, nuts, raisins, etc.), ten beeps will be heard
during operation. This is to prompt you to add ingredients. Open the lid and add the
necessary ingredients. It is possible that steam will escape through the vent slits in the
lid during baking. This is normal.
11. Once the process has been completed, 10 beeps will be heard. You can press the
Start/Stop button for approx. 3 seconds to stop the process and remove the bread or
you can wait: the bread will be kept warm automatically for 1 hour.
12. Open the lid and, using oven mitts, firmly grasp the bread pan handle. Turn the pan
counterclockwise and gently pull the pan straight up and out of the main body.
13. Use a non-stick spatula to gently loosen the sides of the bread from the pan.
Turn the bread pan upside down onto a clean cooking surface and gently shake
until the bread falls out onto a rack. Remove the bread carefully from the pan and
cool for about 20 minutes before slicing.
Note: before slicing the bread, use the hook to remove the kneading blade hidden
on the bottom of the loaf.
14. Unplug the power cord.
