to separate the two tabs.
• Lift the child car seat fabric, open the com-
partment, place the buckle inside and close
the compartment (Fig.39).
• Roll every belt and the corresponding flap up
(Fig. 40) and place the rolled up belt in the
compartment in the backrest (Fig. 41).
• Place the padded crotch strap (O) in the rear
pocket.
2.4 FITTING THE CHILD CAR SEAT AND
SEATING CHILDREN IN GROUP 2/3 USING
THE CAR'S THREE-POINT-BELT (15-36 KG)
WARNING! The text and figures of these in-
structions are for the installation of the child
car seat on the back right seat.To fit the child
car seat in other positions, carry out these op-
erations in the same order.
• Place the child car seat on the chosen for-
ward-facing child car seat.
• Pass the diagonal strap of the vehicle seat
belt behind the headrest and through the
specific red diagonal belt slot (T1) under the
headrest (Fig. 42).
• Carefully place your child in the seat, mak-
ing sure their back is well supported by the
backrest.
• Fasten the car seat belt to its buckle ensuring
that both the waist and the diagonal strap
pass through the waist belt slots T2 (Fig. 43).
• When adjusting the height of the headrest
check that the diagonal belt guide (T1) is po-
sitioned above the shoulder at a maximum
distance of 2 cm (Fig. 44).
6. Pull the diagonal strap of the car seat belt
towards the retractor, ensuring that the belt
is tight and fits properly over your child's legs
and chest (Fig. 45).
7. Check that the child car seat is fitted cor-
rectly.
WARNING!
Always check that the seat belt is distributed
evenly at all points and that it is not twisted.
Check that the diagonal seat belt fits correctly
across your child's shoulder and does not press
on their neck; If necessary, adjust the headrest.
Check that the car seatbelt retractor is behind
the backrest of the car seat (Fig. 46).
To remove a child from a Group 2/3 child car
seat:
• Release the car safety belt from its buckle.
• Remove the car safety belt from the child's
body.
• Carefully remove the child from the child car
seat
WARNING! If you do not intend to remove
the child car seat, fasten the car seat belt in
its buckle so that it restrains the child car seat
even when not in use; this will avoid danger
during an accident or sudden braking of the
car.
2.5 INSTALLING THE CAR SEAT IN THE CAR
AND PLACING THE CHILD IN THE GROUP
2/3 CONFIGURATION WITH ISOFIX CON-
NECTORS, TOP TETHER AND THE CAR'S
THREE-POINT SEAT BELT (15-36 KG)
Before fitting and seating your child change
the child car seat set-up from Group 1 (9-18
kg) to Group 2/3 (15-36 kg) as indicated in
paragraph 2.4.
• Position the car seat on the seat of the vehicle
in the front-facing direction.
• Pull out the rigid connectors (C) completely,
pulling the tape outwards (V) (Fig. 47).
• Remove the Top Tether (F) from the door (W)
(Fig. 48).
• To make it easier to fasten the Isofix connec-
tors, it is possible to use the special guides
provided, attaching them to the Isofix hooks
of the car (Fig. 49)
• Fasten the connectors to the hooks present
between the backrest and the seat (Fig. 50).
Once fastening occurs, you will hear a typical
"click" and the indicator will change from red
to green.
• Firmly push the Car Seat toward the backrest
of the vehicle seat to ensure the best fit (Fig.
51).
• Extend the Top Tether strap by pressing the
adjustment button (Y).
WARNING! Pass the Top Tether between the
top of the car seat backrest and the headrest.
Never pass the Top Tether above the car head-
rest.
WARNING! Refer to your car's user manual to
identify where the Top Tether of the child car
seat is attached to the car. This fastening point
