is denoted with a specific label and can be
found in the positions indicated by the figures
52A – 52B – 52C – 52D.
WARNING! Check that the Top Tether fastener
used is the one that has been specially desig-
nated. Do not confuse it with a ring used for
hanging bags (Fig. 53).
• Once you have identified the fastening point,
connect the Top Tether hook (X) to it.
• Adjust the length of the Top Tether belt by
forcefully pulling the belt until it is tight. The
indicator on the belt goes green (Z) when the
tether is suitably tight (Fig. 54). Roll up any ex-
cess belt and tie up using the velcro.
• Pass the diagonal strap of the vehicle seat
belt behind the headrest and through the
specific red diagonal belt slot (T1) under the
headrest (Fig. 55).
• Carefully place your child in the seat, mak-
ing sure their back is well supported by the
backrest.
• Fasten the car seat belt to its buckle ensuring
that both the waist and the diagonal strap
pass through the waist belt slots T2 (Fig. 56).
• When adjusting the height of the headrest
check that the diagonal belt guide (T1) is po-
sitioned above the shoulder at a maximum
distance of 2 cm (Fig. 57).
6. Pull the diagonal strap of the car seat belt
towards the retractor, ensuring that the belt
is tight and fits properly over your child's legs
and chest (Fig. 58).
7. Check that the child car seat is fitted cor-
rectly.
WARNING!
Always check that the seat belt is distributed
evenly at all points and that it is not twisted.
Check that the diagonal seat belt fits correctly
across your child's shoulder and does not press
on their neck; If necessary, adjust the headrest.
Check that the car seatbelt retractor is behind
the backrest of the car seat (Fig. 59).
To remove a child from a Group 2/3 child car
seat:
• Release the car safety belt from its buckle.
• Remove the car safety belt from the child's
body.
• Carefully remove the child from the child car
seat
2.6 RESETTING THE SEAT BELTS FOR USE
IN GROUPS 0+ (0-13 KG) and 1 (9-18KG)
To restore the belts for use in Group 0+/1,
carry out the steps described in paragraph 2.3

3. OTHER OPERATIONS
3.1 BOOSTER CUSHION
The child car seat is equipped with a booster
cushion consisting of a seat, pad and headrest
(Fig. 60).
The booster cushion including the pad and
headrest is to be used from birth up to 6 kg.
The booster cushion can be used without the
pad and without the headrest from 6 kg to 15 kg.
3.2 ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE
HEADREST AND SEAT BELTS
The height of the headrest and restraint har-
nesses can be simultaneously adjusted by us-
ing the headrest adjustment ring (K).
To increase the height of the headrest release
the safety belts by pressing button S and, at
the same time, hold the two child car seat
harnesses under the shoulder straps and pull
them towards you.
To lower the headrest, lift the ring K and push
the headrest down.
3.3 RECLINING POSITION
To adjust the inclination of the child car seat,
pull the lever located under the seat (P) to-
wards you.
When the child car seat is fitted rear-facing,
it must be adjusted to the maximum recline
position (4).
WARNING! When fitted rear-facing, the other
positions cannot be used.
When fitted front-facing, the seat can be ad-
justed to the 4 positions provided.
3.4 ROTATION
The child car seat features a 360° rotation
system that is activated by acting on lever Q,
which allows you to easily switch from one
configuration to another.
