GENERAL FEATURES

The SFE-EV PRO controller is a SIATA dedicated controller designed for softening and filtration application. It
regroups the following main programmable features:
Regeneration mode: Time clock, volume (immediate or delayed), or external signal start, depending
on how the controller is programmed
3 programmable relay outputs (solenoid control, etc.)
IP index 40
50 or 60 Hz
Varistor included, to protect against voltage surges
Auto-reset feature: If the processor detects a fault in the control logic for any reason, an appropriate
circuit triggers a general reset of the controller, reloading the default programming values.
SFE-EV PRO is available in 3 versions: SIMPLEX (for single column system), DUPLEX (for 2 alternating columns
system), and CUSTOM (for single column system with cam on demand).
SFE-EV PRO controller also features a diagnostic menu where you can consult the service data of the
installation.
SFE-EV PRO controller offers 3 levels of programming: 1 simplified and designed for the end user, 1
intermediate and 1 advanced designed for OEM and installers.
SFE-EV PRO is available in three different programming mode:
1. Simplex softening
2. Duplex softening
3. Custom (softening, filtration)
3.1

SIMPLEX

Controller manages a single column system. 5 different programming options are available:
SH0: Time clock on predefined days
SH1: Volumetric delayed
SH2: Volumetric immediate
SH3: High frequency (based upon a programmed time interval)
SH4: Time clock
3.2

DUPLEX

Duplex alternating columns configuration allows to manage a water treatment system having one valve in
service and the second one in regeneration phase or in stand-by. This configuration is metered managed. Two
different programming options are available
SH1: Volumetric delayed
SH2: Volumetric immediate
Modular option
This option allows having both valves in service operation for a short time to provide peak flow rate. Valve in
stand-by phase supports treated water production with the one already in service.
Two relays are needed to manage this option.
Modular can be managed with one or two water meter.
