6.5.2
Selecting the vehicle from the list of 10 ve-
hicles serviced previously

Before starting the service, refer to chapter 6.4.

Use only new oil to replace the quantity removed
during the recovery process. Used oil should be
discarded as per applicable federal, state and local
requirements.

There will be no vehicles listed in the Last 10 ve-
hicles screen before performing the first vehicle A/C
service.
1. Connect the power cable to the mains supply.
2. Turn on the master switch.
3. In the main menu, select "Vehicle A/C Service" and
press E.
4. Select the operator name and press E. For
ACS 651, select the service type - quick service or
precision service - and proceed to step 5.
5. Check the type of vehicle being serviced - hybrid or
non-hybrid.
6. Check if the correct fresh oil bottle - PAG or POE - is
connected.

If you are switching from a hybrid vehicle to a non-
hybrid vehicle or vice versa, perform flushing. Refer
to chapter 6.8 for more information on flushing.
7. Select "Automatic Mode" and press E.
8. Select "Last 10 vehicles".
9. Press E.
The list of 10 vehicles that were previously ser-
viced is displayed.

10. Press the o or u keys to scroll the list of the 10
vehicles that were recently serviced. If you wish to
perform A/C service on a vehicle listed among the
10 vehicles, select the vehicle and press E.
The automode service parameters are displayed.
11. Press E.
12. Check the type of connection on the vehicle A/C
system.
13. Connect the appropriate coupler to the service
connection on the vehicle A/C system.

Do not use any tools to tighten the couplers.
14. Press the z or r keys to select the type of con-
nection.

If you select oil and/or UV dye recharge, it is not pos-
sible to select the option "LP only".
15. Press u to navigate to the "Vehicle ID (Plate Num-
ber)" field. Enter the plate number of the vehicle.
16. Press u to navigate to the "VIN Number" field.

Check the oil quantity calculation - delta or absolute
- before you proceed with the service. Selecting the
wrong oil quantity calculation might damage the ve-
hicle compressor. To change the oil quantity calcula-
tion, refer to chapter 4.8.1.
