Guiding the landyacht during start-up
Pour guider votre SILENCE comme un vrai compétiteur qui pousse son char en
courant et monte à bord une fois le char lancé : faites un stick de direction en fin
tube PVC (tube électrique) et avec deux morceaux de cordage d'environ 40 cm :
l'un sur le côté du siège pour la tenue du stick, l'autre en bout du tube tenu perforé
par une petite vis en acier inoxydable) ; ce cordage rentre dans un trou que vous
ferez en bout du palonnier (photo 34). Un simple nœud derrière le trou et c'est
tout. Poussez le stick et le char tourne à droite, tirez le stick et le char tourne à
gauche.
To steer your SILENCE like a real pro, Suppose that you want to run and push your
landyacht during the start-up and jump in onto it when it starts moving. Then you
may find this tips very practical. Try to build a steering stick by yourself. For that you
need a PVC tube and 2 pieces of ropes about 40 cm long each. One rope through
the seat to hold the PVC tube, and the second rope at the end of the tube (locked by
a stainless screw). Then drill a hole through the end of your foot bar and fill in the
rope and tie it from behind the foot bar (Figure 30). When you pull the PVC tube,
the landyacht will turn left and when you push the tube, the landyacht will turn
right.
