REMOVING THE BICYCLE

Please follow this procedure to remove the
bicycle:
• Pull up the lever (Ref. Z) (Pic. 22).
• Remove the power supply from the home-
trainer by disconnecting the jack plug of the
power charger from the resistance unit.
• If one is installed, remove the cadence sen-
sor from the bicycle. Alternatively, you can
remove the magnet from the crank.
• Remove the blocking lever from the stand
(Pic. 13) while keeping your hand on the
saddle to prevent the bicycle from falling.
• Lift the bicycle and remove it from the
stand.
For transport, or to save space, we suggest
folding the legs of the frame and pushing the
resistance unit inwards (Pic. 30).
• During long periods of inactivity and in case
of long travels, it is advisable to completely
remove the resistance unit from the trainer
base and store it in it's original packaging.

PACKING
Whenever the roller has to be shipped for
assistance or for some other reason, special
attention must be paid to ensure its correct
packing.
• Remove the resistance unit from stand,
undoing the 2 screws fixing it to the support
plate.
• Disconnect all cables from the resistance
unit (power output cable – cadence sensor
cable).
• Remove the cadence sensor from the bicycle
frame.
• Put the cadence sensor, power adapter con-
sole and USB key inside a container in a dry
place.
• Pack the resistance unit in its original box.
If this box is not available, pack the unit,
paying particular attention to the flywheel.
During shipments, packs often undergo
mistreatment and very hard impacts, therefo-
re inadequate packing can result in perma-
nent damage to the roller. This type of dama-
ge is not covered by the warranty. Pack the
roller as though it had to be dropped with box
from a height of 1 meter.
Note: before sending the roller or any other
component assistance, always firstly consult
Elite or the distributor.
