POWER

Power range
The power range covered by the roller is very
wide and depends on the speed. The faster you
pedal, the wider the power range. Nevertheless
there may be extreme conditions where the
required power is outside of the range (too
high or too low). In these cases the roller
delivers the maximum/minimum possible,
and resumes working correctly as soon as the
conditions return to being compatible with the
power deliverable by the RealTour B+. When
the required power is outside the available
power range, the roller displays on the monitor
the actual power it is producing and not the
theoretical power.
Power Displayed and Resistance Generated.
To better understand
measurement works please note that the
RealTour B+ is not an ergometer* that
measures the power generated by the cyclist,
but measures indirectly through mathematical
calculation. There are other variables that
influence the system's power output that the
software does not consider (i.e.: tyre type, tyre
width, tyre/roller pressure, temperature and
so on); this means that the accuracy of the
value displayed on video varies and cannot be
pre-determined. However, if your bike has an
ergometer*, it's possible to conduct a calibration
procedure to ensure greater accuracy in power
measurement. Please check software's Help

* An instrument that measures power generated
by the cyclist while pedalling.

IMPORTANT POINTS

Interferences might be caused by crossing elec-
tric security gates or by high voltage power
supply lines, traffic lights, electric railways,
electric bus lines or tramlines, TV sets, cars,
cycle computers, gym equipment and mobile
phones that are inside the USB dongle range.
That's why using other wireless receivers might
alter or block the use of the USB dongle.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight when not in
use.
