Einfliegen
- Vor dem Erstflug die Abschnitte „Routineprüfungen vor dem
Start" und „Modellbetrieb" der Sicherheitshinweise beach-
ten.
- Zum Einfliegen des Modells sollten Sie sich einen möglichst
windstillen Tag aussuchen. Als Gelände für die ersten Flüge
eignet sich eine große, ebene Wiese ohne Hindernisse
(Bäume, Zäune, Hochspannungsleitungen etc.).
- Das Modell zusammenbauen. Nochmals eine Funktions-
probe durchführen.
- Der Start erfolgt genau gegen den Wind.
- Das Modell wird vom Boden gestartet.
- Vor dem ersten Bodenstart einige Rollversuche durchfüh-
ren, um sich mit dem Verhalten des Modells am Boden ver-
traut zu machen.
- Sind Ihnen die Reaktionen des Modells bekannt, wird das
Modell mit der Nase genau gegen den Wind gestellt.
Kontinuierlich bis zur vollen Motorleistung Gas geben und
das Modell durch leichtes Ziehen des Höhenruders vom Bo-
den abheben. Das Modell nicht überziehen.
- Sofort die Steuerung übernehmen.
- Ruder falls erforderlich nachtrimmen, bis ein gleichmäßiger
Steigflug erreicht ist.
- Die Reaktionen des Modells auf die Ruderausschläge prü-
fen. Gegebenenfalls die Ausschläge nach der Landung ent-
sprechend vergrößern oder verkleinern.
- In ausreichender Sicherheitshöhe die Mindestflugge-
schwindigkeit erfliegen. Die Landung mit ausreichend Fahrt
einleiten.
- War ein Nachtrimmen erforderlich, so werden die
Gestängelängen nach der Landung korrigiert und die
Trimmhebel am Sender wieder in Mittelstellung gebracht, so
daß für die folgenden Flüge beidseitig der volle Trimmweg
zur Verfügung steht.

Test-flying
- Before flying the model for the first time please read the sec-
tions entitled "Routine pre-flight checks" and "Operating the
model" in the Safety Notes.
- To test-fly the model we recommend that you wait for a day
with as little breeze as possible. The ideal flying site for ini-
tial flights is a large, flat field devoid of obstacles (trees,
fences, high-tension overhead cables etc.).
- Assemble the model completely, and repeat the check of all
the working systems.
- The model should always be taken off directly into any wind.
- The model should be allowed to take off from the ground.
- Before the first flight carry out a few taxi-ing runs so that you
have a clear idea of the model's handling characteristics on
the ground.
- Once you feel confident with the model's ground handling,
set the machine on the take-off strip with the nose pointing
exactly into wind. Gradually open the throttle to the full-throt-
tle point, allow the model to gather plenty of speed and lift off
with gentle up-elevator. Take care not to stall the model with
too much "up" at too low a speed.
- Take command of the model immediately and watch it atten-
tively for every moment of the flight.
- Adjust the control surface trims if necessary to obtain a grad-
ual, steady climb.
- Check the model's response to the controls. If you are not
happy with any control, remember to adjust the travels once
the model is safely back on the ground.
- Take the model to a safe altitude and reduce speed steadily
to establish the minimum flying speed. Keep the model well
above this speed when landing.
- If you had to adjust the trims during the flight, adjust the
mechanical linkages after the landing so that you can move
the transmitter trims back to centre. This ensures that full
trim travel remains available to both sides of centre for sub-
sequent flights.

- À noter : pour les travaux de montage, de réglage et de
maintenance, ne jamais approcher les mains du plan de
rotation de l'hélice – danger de blessure. Veiller égale-
ment à ce que personne ne stationne devant le modèle
lorsque le moteur tourne.
Le premier vol
- Avant le premier vol, lire attentivement les paragraphes
comportant les consignes de sécurité „Contrôles de routine
avant le décollage" et „Mise en œuvre du modèle".
- Pour le premier vol, choisir un jour sans vent. Le terrain idéal
pour le premier vol est une grande prairie sans obstacles
(arbres, grillages, lignes à haute tension, etc.).
- Assembler le modèle et effectuer un nouveau contrôle des
fonctions.
- Faire décoller le modèle exactement contre le vent.
- Le modèle décolle du sol.
- Avant le premier décollage, effectuer des essais de roulage
du modèle au sol afin de se familiariser avec son comporte-
ment au sol.
- Lorsque vous avez assimilé les réactions du modèle, le dis-
poser nez face au vent.
Faire tourner le moteur à plein gaz et faire décoller le mod-
èle en tirant légèrement sur le manche de profondeur. Veiller
à ne pas cabrer le modèle.
- Prendre immédiatement les commandes.
- Corriger éventuellement à l'aide des trims si le vol ascen-
sionnel ne se déroule pas correctement et de manière
homogène.
- Contrôler les réactions du modèle en fonction des débatte-
ments de gouverne. Si nécessaire, augmenter ou réduire les
débattement après l'atterrissage.
- À une altitude convenable, tester la plus petite vitesse pos-
sible en vol. Engager l'atterrissage avec suffisamment de
vitesse.
- Si, au cours du vol, vous avez été contraint de rectifier les
réglages au niveau des trims, corriger la longueur deys
tringles en conséquence après l'atterrissage et replacer les
trims en position médiane sur l'émetteur afin de pouvoir dis-
poser de la totalités de leur course, dans les deux sens, pour
les vols suivants.
