Setup
Connect the cable only to the compatible light sources specified in the
Product Description/Intended Use section. Connecting incompatible
equipment to a light source can cause unexpected results.
Before using the cable with an endoscope, check the outer surface of
the endoscope to ensure there are no rough surfaces, sharp edges, or
protrusions.
Keep fingers away from the light source cable port when inserting the
cable, as the clamp may inadvertently deploy and cause injury.
1. Turn the jaw on the light source clockwise to lock open the cable clamp.
2. Insert the cable end marked
3. Connect the appropriate adapter to an endoscope by threading the adapter
onto the endoscope light post.

During setup, always connect the adapter to the endoscope
before connecting the adapter to the cable. Failure to observe
this warning can cause severe eye injury to the patient or user. See
Warnings and Cautions for more information.
