Commissioning
7.1
Commissioning Procedure
This section describes the commissioning procedure and gives an overview of the steps you must
perform in the prescribed order.
Procedure
1.
Commission the inverter.
2.
Establish a connection to the user interface of the inverter.
There are various connection options to choose from for
this:
• Direct connection via WLAN
• Connection via WLAN in the local network
• Connection via Ethernet in the local network
3.
Log into the user interface.
4.
Select the inverter configuration option. Please note that
the SMA Grid Guard code for changing the grid-relevant
parameters must be available after completion of the first
ten feed-in hours or installation assistant (see "Application
for the SMA Grid Guard code" available at www.SMA-
Solar.com).
5.
If necessary, set the parameters for voltage and frequency
monitoring.
6.
Ensure that the country data set has been configured cor-
rectly.
7.
Make further inverter settings as needed.
7.2
Commissioning the Inverter
Requirements:
☐ A means of disconnecting the inverter from the PV array must be present.
☐ The AC circuit breaker must be correctly rated and mounted.
☐ The inverter must be correctly mounted.
☐ All conductors must be correctly connected.
☐ Unused enclosure openings must be sealed tightly with sealing plugs.
