Oven functions

Oven lighting (always remains illuminated during operation)
Top and bottom heat (conventional)
A top and bottom element heat the dish, suitable for cooking a dish. This function
is used for light baked produce and tarts and the heat conveyed from the top and
bottom must be even in order to achieve a light result. It is preferable to place the
dish in a preheated oven, i.e. once the indication light next to the thermostat button
has gone out. Temperature setting from
50 °C to MAX.
Conventional with fan
The top and bottom element are switched on. The fan spreads the heat evenly
through the oven space. This function is suitable for roasting meat and baking tarts.
You can defrost food using this function. For this purpose set the thermostat button
to '0'. Temperature setting from 50 °C to MAX.
Bottom heat with fan
The bottom element is switched on. The fan allows the hot air to circulate. This
function is ideal for baking pizza, quiche, apple pie and cheesecake. Temperature
setting from 50 °C to MAX.
Grille (with limited surface and power)
The upper element is switched on. This function is primarily suitable for small
quantities like French bread, fillets of fish or cooking (au gratin) an oven dish. The
outer edge becomes brown in colour without the inner edge of the dish being
affected. Place the dish in the middle of the oven rack as the element is in the
middle of the oven. Temperature setting from 50 °C to 200 °C.
Grille (with large surface)
Both top elements heat the dish. This function is suitable for grilling steak, sausages
and toasted sandwiches. The fan spreads the heat of the grille element through the
oven. This means the dishes are cooked evenly. Ideal for larger grilled dishes such
as poultry and larger pieces of fish. Place an oven dish below the dish in order to
catch any fat which drips off. Temperature setting from 50 °C to 200 °C.
Hot air (round heating element with fan)
Dishes are heated by the hot air which is warmed up with the element at the back
of the oven. The even heating of the oven means this function is suitable for both
heating deep frozen dishes and also baking cake and croissants. With hot air you
can use several levels at the same time. Temperature setting from 50 °C to MAX.
