With the kitchen timer you can set a specific duration. Once the time
has passed, an audible signal will sound. The kitchen timer does not
affect the working of the oven so the oven continues to function as
normal after the time has finished.
1. Press the kitchen timer/timer button for 3 seconds.
The bell symbol appears and starts flashing.
2. Set the correct time (if the bell symbol is still flashing) with the +
and the - button and wait for an audible signal which indicates that
the time is saved.
The current time appears in the display and the bell symbol stops
flashing.
▷ If the bell symbol is no longer flashing you cannot set the time.
Press on the kitchen timer/timer button for 3 seconds until the
bell symbol starts flashing.
▷ If you wish to look at or adjust the time set you must once again
press the kitchen timer/timer button for 3 seconds. The time of
the kitchen timer then appears in the display for a number of
seconds.
3. Once the time has passed you will hear an audible signal and the
bell symbol will flash. Press any button in order to switch off the
audible signal. The audible signal switches off but the bell symbol
continues flashing. If you then press on the kitchen timer/timer
button for a while, the bell symbol will disappear.
You can use the auto shut-off in various ways:
• You can specify the duration of the baking/roasting/grilling. The
oven switches off as soon as the set time has passed. Once the
time has passed, an audible signal will sound.
• You can also set the time at which the baking/roasting/grilling
should end with the timer. The oven will function at the present
temperature and function until the time set. Once the time has
passed, an audible signal will sound.
• Finally you can input both a duration and also an end time
(an automatic baking process). The oven starts and stops
automatically. When the automatic baking process has finished, a
beep sounds.
