Replacing the oven light

The outside of the oven
Use a soapy solution with a mild cleaning agent to clean the outside of
the oven.
• Wipe the oven dry with kitchen paper or a clean cloth.
• Never use abrasives, soda or other aggressive products.
Stainless steel oven fronts
Never use steel wool, scourers or abrasives. These can affect the
surface.
Accessories
Clean the accessories after use and dry them with a kitchen cloth.
The accessories will be easier to clean after being left to soak in warm
soapy water for half an hour.
• Open the oven door completely.
• Lift up the two handles (by the hinges).
• Close the door at the first position (which is caused by the two
handles which you have just lifted up).
• Lift the door up and out.
• In order to refit the door you push the hinges back into the housing
and you put the two handles back into the closing position.
The oven light must have the following properties:
• suitable for temperatures up to 300 °C.
• the correct feed: see the value stated on the type plate.
• a power of 25 W.
• an attachment of the type E14.
In order to prevent damage it is sensible to place a tea towel in the
oven.
• Unscrew the light's glass covering.
• Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one.
• Tighten the glass covering once again and remove the tea towel.
