Electrical safety

• This appliance may only be installed by an appropriately authorised
installer. The installation regulations and the locally valid safety
regulations must be followed here.
• Check the appliance for transit damage. Do not connect a damaged
appliance.
• N ever open the housing of the appliance. This may only be opened
by a service technician.
• D isconnect the electricity from the appliance before starting any
repair work. Preferably unplug the appliance, switch the (automatic)
fuse(s) off or, in the event of a permanent connection, set the
switch in the fuse box to zero.
• If a fault should occur or if the appliance is damaged, it must then
be subjected to expert repair before being used.
• Repairs may only be carried out by technicians who are instructed
by the service department. If the appliance is defective, switch off
the fuse in the fuse box or remove the plug from the power point.
Contact customer services.
• A damaged connection cable must be replaced by the service
department in order to avoid unsafe situations.
• Ensure that the connection cable cannot come into contact with
parts of the oven which may become hot.
• The appliance is provided with a plug and may only be connected
with an earthed power point. The groups in the fuse box must be
secured with a minimum of 16A (C or B circuit breaker).
• If the plug is no longer accessible following installation, the
connection must be provided with a multi-polar switch with a
contact separation of at least 3 mm.
• Do not use any adaptors or extension cables. These may become
warm during use which can result in a fire starting.
• Be careful with the cables of electrical appliances like a mixer for
example. These can become jammed between the door of the hot
oven.
