TurboRoll 550
STORAGE
Important: Remove the batteries before storing the TurboRoll 550.
Remove the suction tube from the filling valve and make sure that the
i
filling valve points down when stored.
1. Turn the large union nut in front of the handwheel anti-clockwise to loosen it. Then
remove the piston rod from the paint cylinder.
2. Grease the O-rings on the front of the piston rod evenly. (Fig. 2)
3. Insert the piston rod into the paint cylinder. Take care not to twist or damage the O-rings.
(Fig. 3)
4. Tighten the union nuts in order to fix the piston rod and the cover of the battery
compartment. (Fig. 4).
5. Grease the inner side of the filling valve (Fig. 17)
6. Clean and pack a generous amount of petroleum jelly on the seal (a) , O-ring (b) and
other indicated bearing areas (c) of the arm. (Fig. 18
7. Reassemble the paint roll and the roller frame. (Fig. 5-7).

CORRECTION OF MALFUNCTIONS

PROBLEM
A. There is paint

1) The seal on the arm is
backward.
2) The seal and cap were not
properly cleaned.
3) The O-ring and the connecting
area were not cleaned
properly.
4) Paint residue on connecting
areas
5) The O-rings are damaged or
missing
6) The roller cover is worn or
damaged
7) The core or cap is worn or
damaged
8) The roller arm is worn
1) Lever is set to "MANUAL"
2) Batteries too weak
3) Batteries incorrectly inserted
SOLUTION
1) Turn the seal around
2) Clean and properly
lubricate
3) Clean and properly
lubricate
4) Clean connecting areas
5) Replace the O-rings
6) Replace roller cover
7) Replace core or cap
8) Replace roller arm
1) Set lever to "POWER"
2) Replace
3) Insert correctly (note
marking
in
compartment)
