7.2.4 Installing the optional accessories

Mechanical or inductive limit switches
The technical specifications for limit switches can be found in the catalogue. Ensure that the wir-
ing is safely laid out during installation. Avoid damage to the wiring, for example by having radii
that are too small, as this can lead to failure of the system. The wiring must not be in the path
travelled by the linear unit.
Mounting for limit and proximity switches

The mounting can be inserted in the prismatic groo-
ves of the guidance profile and fixed with a tapped
pin.
•
If a limit switch is used, the lift is reduced by 25 mm
(open elements) or 50 mm (closed elements).
•
Do not use a proximity switch in conjunction with
closed guidance slides.
