7.3 Inserting the rechargeable batteries
7.3.1 Inserting the 1.2 Ah rechargeable battery
Place the 1.2Ah rechargeable battery with the side to which
the cable is channeled, on the housing and then engage the
opposite side.
7.3.2 7Ah rechargeable battery
Connect the 7 Ah rechargeable battery to the controller as
shown in the figure.
Under any circumstances, the 1.2 Ah rechargeable battery may never be connected to
a control adjusted to the 7 Ah rechargeable battery. There is the danger of explosion
due to a considerably higher charge current.
7.4 Putting into service

Before using the rechargeable battery for the first time, it must be charged for at least
24 hours.
•
After insertion of a charged rechargeable battery, the controller will automatically be supplied
with power from the rechargeable battery if there is a power failure.

The rechargeable battery is protected against total discharge damage by a protective function.
At least one week after reaching the protective function the rechargeable battery must be re-
charged, if this is not done the battery will be damaged by total discharge.

When the acoustic warning sounds the capacity of the rechargeable battery is exhausted and
the battery should be recharged.
