7.2.4 Installing the optional accessories

Mechanical or inductive limit switches
The technical specifications for limit switches can be found in the catalogue. Ensure that the wir-
ing is safely laid out during installation. Avoid damage to the wiring, for example by having radii
that are too small, as this can lead to failure of the system. The wiring must not be in the path
travelled by the linear unit.
The limit switch is mounted on a clamp on a bracket. The li-
mit switch can be moved axially on the guidance pipe. The
bracket is secured with the clamping screws of the clamp.

When using clamping levers instead of clamping screws, the thread on the stainless steel version
must be lubricated.
