Warranty
Warranty is applicable only to malfunctions caused by
material defects or by manufacturer's defects.
For a claim during the warranty period it is necessary to
present original receipt with the date of purchase.
Warranty excludes the unprofessional use, such as
overloading of the machine, using excessive force and
damage caused by third person or by foreign object.
Warranty also excludes not following operating manual
and installation instructions.

General safety instructions
Before you start to operate this machine read the
following safety instructions and operating manual. When
handing this machine over to other people, please hand
them over also this operating manual. Store the
operating manual carefully!
Packaging: Your machine is inside a packaging to avoid
damage during the transport. Packaging is a material so
it can be used again or disposed to scrap yard.
Read the operating manual carefully and follow its
recommendations. With the help of this manual you will
get familiar with the machine and safety instructions.
Keep these instructions for further use.
When working on the machine it must be plugged
out from the power supply.
Use the machine for intended use only
You are responsible for the safety on workplace
Secure proper lightning
Never leave the machine unattended
When you finish with your work, store the machine
in a safe place.
Never use the machine on the rain or in wet or
humid environment.
Protect the machine against wet and humidity.
Do not turn the machine on if not in working
position.

When not in use, store the machine in dry place
with restricted access to children.
All parts of the machine must be checked regularly
for damage and wear. It cannot be used when not in
perfect order.
Use only original spare parts for repairs.
All repairs must be carried out by skilled electro
professional.
Before commissioning and after any impact check
the machine for damage and wear and let it be
repaired if needed.
Never use spare parts and accessories not
approved and recommended by the manufacturer.
Prevent other objects to cause short circuit on
machine contacts.
Before connecting to power supply check if data on
the type label correspond with power supply
indication.
The machine is not a toy! Children cannot
estimate dangers coming out of this machine. Never
let the children use the machine.
Persons, who are not able to operate the
machine due to their physical, sensory or
mental incapability or due to their inexperience
or ignorance, cannot use this machine.
If you see visual damage on the machine, it is
not allowed to turn it on.
Great risks are coming out of unskilled repairs.
The same regulations are applicable to all
accessories.
Güde GmbH & Co. KG cannot be liable for damages
caused by:
Mechanical influence and overvoltage.
Modifications on the machine.
Not using the machine for intended use
mentioned in the manual.
Observe all safety instructions unconditionally
to avoid accidents and damage.
Machine specific safety instructions
1.
always wear safety gloves, goggles and ear plugs.
2.
do not wear loose attire (ties, jewellery, etc.) and tie
up your long hair.
3.
make sure your hands can move freely, so you can
work safely.
4.
while doing repair/maintenance works on machine it
must be plugged out from the power supply.
5.
do not carry out any inspections or other measures
until the spindle stops rotating completely.
6.
you can change the revolutions only after the spindle
stops rotating completely.
7.
make sure that the machine base can support its
weight.
8.
before you switch the machine on, make sure that all
guards and covers are closed.
Using for intended use only
Lathe is able to execute both inner and outer lathe-turning,
cross turning, thread turning and also drilling, reaming and
thread cutting. With all functions and its good working
results it can be used both for fine industrial works and at
home.
Disposal
Disposal instructions are made clear in pictograms on
machine label resp. package. You can find pictograms
description in chapter "Labeling".
Operation requirements
Operating personnel must read the operating manual
carefully before use.
Qualification
There is no need for any special qualification except for
detailed training by qualified person.
