Bloquez la cassette à l'aide d'un fouet à chaîne et dévissez la
vis de cassette à l'aide d'une clé cannelée.

Extrayez la cassette du corps de roue libre.

Montez une nouvelle cassette. Procédez dans l'ordre inverse.
Remarque :
Lors du montage, veillez à ce que la rondelle entretoise (8)
s'ap-plique bien à plat et ne se coince pas sous le siège de
roulement en deux (9)parties.
Remarque :
Lubrifiez les surfaces de frottement dans le différentiel (10,
signalées en jaune) à l'aide d'un lubrifiant solide avant d'in-
sérer l'organe d'axe complet dans le trou carré.
10. Placez le soufflet élastomère (4) sur les coulisseaux. Faites
coïncider le différentiel et les coulisseaux et poussez la trans-
mission complète au contact dans le tube support d'axe.
Attention !
Les vis M6 (1) de serrage du roulement doivent être impéra-
tivement serrées à 9 Nm. À un couple plus important, vous
risquez d'endommager le rouelement.
11.
Montez les roues et ajustez les étriers de freins.

Brace the cassette using a chain whip, and unscrew the
sprocket bolt with a lockring removal tool.

Pull the cassette off of the freewheel unit.

Mount the new cassette. Follow these instructions in the
reverse order.
Note:
When installing the new cassette, make sure that the shim
(8) is lying flat and not wedged at an angle beneath the two-

part bearing seat (9).
Note:
Lubricate the contact surfaces (10, yellow marked) in the
differential with a solid lubricant before you insert the left
axle assembly into the hexagon socket.
10. Slide the rubber bellows (4) back onto the end of the left axle
assembly. Align the rectangular socket in the side of the differ-
ential with the slot nuts on the end of the left axle assembly.
Then slide the left axle assembly as far as it will go into the
axle tube, while guiding the slot nuts into the rectangular slot
of the differential.
Attention!
The allen bolt (1) must be tightened with a torque of 9 Nm
(6.6 ft-lbs). If the bolt is tightened with more torque, the
bearing could be damaged.
11. Mount the wheels and adjust the brake calipers.
