Dismantling and mounting the follower plate

Unscrew the toggle nut (1) and

remove the upper ring.
Replace the process seal(s).

Put the upper ring onto the process
>
seal and align it.
Screw the upper ring to the lower
>
plate.
For variants with 2 process seals, the
larger process seal must be at the bottom
(see fig.).

Repair and maintenance

> Annual maintenance must be performed by a qualified technician.
> The process device needs to be checked at regular intervals in accordance with the
statutory/country-specific regulations and accident prevention regulations (in Germany
e.g. BGV A1; DGUV Vorschrift 3).
> The toothed belt must be replaced
- if wear, cracks or discoloration occur
- in normal use (< 20 times lift load per day in annual average) every 8 years.
- in intense use (> 20 times lift load per day in annual average) every 4 years.
> The freewheel ball bearing must be replaced
- if wear or distorted sounds occur
- in normal use (< 20 times lift load per day in annual average) every 8 years.
- in intense use (> 20 times lift load per day in annual average) every 4 years.
8.1

Change of battery

Disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
>
Park the process device safely and actuate
>
the locking brake at the trolley. Remove the
cover (1) by loosening the 6 screws (2)
(3 screws on each side).
As a rule, replace any defective part.
Only use original spare parts.
Remove the power supply before carrying out any maintenance work.
Deaerate the compressed air lines before carrying out any maintenance
work.
Work on the electrical equipment may only be carried out by authorized
personnel.
Regularly check connections, lines, hoses.
