Lifting the follower plate out of the drum
Switch the pump off.
>
Slowly open the ball valve (2) and let
>
the compressed air flow into the
drum slowly.
The pump unit with the follower plate
moves upward and the drum is kept on
the ground.
>
Close the ball valve (2) when lifting by compressed air is no longer required or air
escapes at the upper rim of the drum.
>
Move the lifting sledge further up until the follower plate is located above the drum.

Do not exceed the maximum operating pressure of 6 bars for compressed
air motors.
Maximum permissible speed 1000 min
Do not leave the drum emptying system unattended.
When approaching the maximum height there might be a risk of tipping
due to shifting of the centre of gravity.
Immediately switch the pump off when no material is transported.
Danger of damage to materials and pump!
Never let the pump run against a blocked outlet.
When lifting the follower plate, ensure that hoses and cables are not
clamped and not subjected to tensile force.
Consider the ceiling height, pipes and cable ducts at the emptying place!
Remove pumped material from the floor and dispose of it in accordance
with environmental regulations.
Remove power cord and compressed air line when changing the position.
