Transferring equalizer settings
to another equalizer
You can transfer the settings of an equalizer
to one of the other two.
For example, you already performed the
settings for Equalizer 1 and Equalizer 2 or
calibrated them. You now want to adjust a
third equalizer, but perform these settings
under Equalizer 1. To avoid losing the ex-
isting settings of Equalizer 1, you can copy
them to the free Equalizer 3 before read-
justing Equalizer 1.

Press the MENU button A.

Press the softkey "Audio Settings" 6.

Press the "DSA" softkey 9.
The display shows the DSA menu.

Press the "User equalizer" softkey 6.
u
Press the softkey of the equalizer
(Equalizer 1 – 3) whose settings you
want to transfer to another one.
u
Press the softkey of the equalizer
(Equalizer 1 – 3), to which you want to
transfer the settings of the currently se-
lected equalizer, for longer than 2 sec-
onds.
The display shows the two equalizers
that now have the same settings (e.g.
"EQ2 = EQ1", if the settings of Equalizer 1
were transferred to Equalizer 2).
To return to the menu,

Adjusting the level for an
equalizer
Depending on the individual settings, equal-
izers may appear to have different volumes.
For each of the 3 equalizers, you can adjust
the level to adjust the overall volume of the
playback when using the equalizer.

Press the MENU button A.

Press the softkey "Audio Settings" 6.

Press the "DSA" softkey 9.
The display shows the DSA menu.

Press the "User equalizer" softkey 6.

Press the softkey for the desired equal-
izer (Equalizer 1 – 3).

Press the "Adjust" softkey 9.

Press the "EQU Offset" softkey 9.
u
Adjust the desired level between –
10 dB and +10 dB by pressing the
> or
button @ (decrease) or
> or
@ (increase).
When you have fi nished making your
changes,

press the OK button B repeatedly un-
til you reach the desired menu level for
additional settings or completely exit
the menu.
Sound optimisation through
virtual loudspeaker positioning
You can virtually increase the distance be-
tween individual loudspeakers and your
position in the vehicle. This allows you to
optimise the sound, e.g. for the driver's or
passenger's seat, by adjusting the different
distance to the right or left and the front or
rear loudspeakers.
