Repeating individual tracks or
whole directories (RPT)
To play the current track repeatedly,
u press the "RPT" softkey 7 once or
several times until "REPEAT TRACK" is
displayed.
Info line 2 H permanently displays "Rpt
Trk".
To repeat the whole directory,
u press the "RPT" softkey 7 once or
several times until "REPEAT DIR" is dis-
played.
Info line 2 H permanently displays "Rpt
Dir".
Cancelling Repeat
To stop the current track or current direc-
tory from being repeated,
u press the "RPT" softkey 7 once or
several times until "REPEAT OFF" is
displayed.
Info line 2 H no longer displays "Rpt Trk"
or "Rpt Dir".
Selecting directories and track
in MP3 browse mode
In MP3 browse mode, the tracks and direc-
tories of the MP3 data carrier are displayed
as they are physically stored on the data car-
rier in directories and subdirectories. For
this purpose, a four-line display is shown in
MP3 browse mode. This display shows all
the tracks and subdirectories of the current

MP3/WMA mode
directory as a list. You can select and play a
track in this list or select and open a subdi-
rectory. In addition, you can change to the
higher level directory if you are currently in
a subdirectory.
Selecting and exiting MP3 browse mode
To change from MP3 display to MP3 browse
mode,
u press the NEXT button 2.
The "BROWSE" menu is displayed with a list
of the subdirectories and tracks of the cur-
rent directory. The current track is selected
in the list.
To exit MP3 browse mode again,
u press the NEXT button 2.
The MP3 display is shown.
Notes:
• If the data carrier also contains MP3
or WMA playlists, pressing the NEXT
button 2 brings you to the playlist
mode from the MP3 browse mode
(see the section "Selecting playlists
and tracks in MP3 playlist mode" in
this chapter). In this case, press the
NEXT button 2 a second time to re-
turn to the MP3 display.
• The functions of the MP3 display (e.g
Mix and Repeat) are not available in
MP3 browse mode.
