In the tuner region "EUROPE", the sen-
sitivity value adjusted for AM applies to
the wavebands MW, LW and SW.

Storing stations

Storing stations manually
u
Select the desired waveband or memory
bank.
u
Tune into the desired station.
u Briefl y press on the softkeys 6 to
;.
The assignment of all six memory locations
is displayed.
u
Press and hold down one of the softkeys
6 to ; for longer than 2 seconds to
assign the station to that button.
A confi rmation beep sounds. The station is
stored at the selected memory location.
Storing stations automatically
( Travel Store)
You can automatically store the six strongest
FM stations in the region. The stations are
stored in the FMT memory bank. In the tun-
er region "USA" or "SOUTH AMERICA", you
can also automatically store the 6 strongest
AM stations in the AMT memory bank.
Note:
Stations previously stored in the FMT
or AMT bank are deleted.

Select the FM or AM waveband.
u Press the TUNER button ?
The "Tuner" menu is displayed.
u Press the "Travel Store" softkey 9.

The storing procedure begins. "Travel Store"
appears on the display. After the process
has completed, the radio will play the sta-
tion that is stored in memory location 1 of
the FMT or AMT memory bank.

Listening to stored stations

Select the memory bank or waveband.
u Briefl y press on the softkeys 6 to
;.
The assignment of all six memory locations
is displayed.
u Press the softkey 6 to ; where the
desired station is stored.
The stored station is played if it can be re-
ceived.
Note:
The memory location assignment is
hidden again approx. 16 seconds after
pressing the last softkey. To hide it ear-
lier, press the TUNER button ?.
Scanning receivable stations
( Scan)
You can use the scan function to play all
the receivable stations briefl y. The scan-
ning time can be adjusted in the menu from
5 to 30 seconds (see the section "Setting
the scanning time (Scan Time)" in this
chapter).
Starting Scan
u Press and hold down the OK button B
for longer than 2 seconds.
The radio scans the next receivable station.
The display shows "SCAN".
