Adjusting the delay for the
external amplifi er
External amplifi ers generally require some
time until they have stabilised after switch-
on and provide a fl awless playback. To
avoid disturbances during the playback af-
ter switch-on, you can adjust a delay of the
playback via the external amplifi er of up to
7 seconds. During this time, the external
amplifi er is muted.

Press the "Various Settings" softkey

Connecting external audio
sources
External audio sources, such as portable
CD players, MiniDisc players or MP3 play-
ers, can be connected to the device via 2
rear AUX inputs:
1.
Via the AUX-1 input (chamber C3 if no
CD changer is connected to the de-
vice).
2. Via the AUX-2 input (chamber D).
Notes:
•
An adapter cable is needed to con-
nect an external audio source via the
AUX-1 input. You can obtain this ca-
ble (Blaupunkt no.: 7 607 897 093)
from your Blaupunkt dealer.
•
As soon as the AUX inputs are switched
on, they can be selected with the
SOURCE button 4 (to switch on the
AUX inputs, please read the follow-
ing section). The display then shows
"AUXILIARY 1" or "AUXILIARY 2".
Switching AUX inputs on
(Auxiliary)
For external audio sources to be played via
the AUX inputs, they must be switched on
in the settings.

Press the softkey "Aux Settings" :.
The "Aux" menu is displayed.
To switch the AUX-1 or AUX-2 input on or
off,

press the softkey "Auxiliary 1" ; or
"Auxiliary 2" 6.
