Operating Manual for Ride-on Lawn Tractor
Connect the black jump lead first
to the negative terminal (–) of the
donor battery. Connect the other
clip to the frame of the engine
block of the vehicle with the flat
battery (as far away from the bat -
tery as possible).
Note
If the donor battery is installed in a
vehicle, this vehicle must not be star -
ted during the jump starting process.
Start the vehicle with the flat bat -
tery and actuate the parking bra -
ke.
Disconnect the jump leads in re -
verse sequence.

Tyre pressure

Caution
Never exceed the maximum per
mitted tyre pressure (see tyre wall).
When pumping up the tyres, do not
stand in front of or over the tyre.
The recommended operating tyre
pressure is:
front:
1.0 bar
rear:
0.7 bar
Excessive tyre pressure reduces the
service life of the tyres.
Always check the tyre pressure
before driving.
After 5 operating hours
First engine oil change.
See engine manual for subse -
quent intervals.
Use the oil channel (optional,
Fig. 8) to drain.
After 10 operating hours
Lubricate all rotating and bearing
points (operating lever, height
adjustment of the cutter deck,
clutch/brake pedal, etc.) with se -
veral drops of light oil.
Clean battery terminals.
Every 25 operating hours
Lubricate all blade shafts, tensio -
ning pulleys and tensioning pul -
ley holders via the grease nipples
using grease type 251H EP. Ar -
range for this work to be carried
out by a specialist workshop.
Apply multipurpose grease to
the teeth on the steering gear.
Lubricate the steering linkage
with a few drops of light oil.
Lubricate the wheel bearings and
front wheel axes with a multipur -
pose grease applied to the grea -
se nipples.
Every 50 operating hours
Dirt and grass remnants must be
removed from the drive gear by a
specialist workshop.
If required
Charge the battery
If you are not using the mower for a
prolonged period, removal of the
battery from the mower and char -
ging prior to storage is recommen -
ded, as well as every 2 months
during storage, and before starting
up the mower again.

Follow the instructions in the opera -
ting manual for your battery charger.
Replacing fuses
Replace defective fuses only with
ones of an equal rating.
Once a season
Apply multipurpose grease to
the teeth on the steering gear.
Lubricate the steering linkage
with a few drops of light oil.
Lubricate all rotating and bearing
points (operating lever, height
adjustment of the cutter deck,
clutch/brake pedal, etc.) with se -
veral drops of light oil.
Clean the spark plug and check
the gap between the electrodes
or replace the plug. See engine
handbook.
The rear axles must be lubricated
with a special-purpose (water-re -
pellent) grease in a specialist
workshop.
The cutting blade must be shar -
pened or replaced by a specialist
workshop.

Shutting down the unit

Caution
Material damage to the mower
Only store the mower once the
engine has cooled in a clean and
dry room or area.During prolonged
storage, e.g. in winter, ensure that
the mower is protected against
rust.
At the end of the season or when the
vehicle will not be used for longer
than a month:
Clean the machine.
Wipe all metal parts with an oily
rag or spray them with oil to pro -
tect them from rust.
Charge battery with a battery
charger.
When shutting down the
appliance for the winter, remove
the battery, charge it and store in
a dry/cool location (protected
from frost). Charge the battery
every 4-6 weeks as well as befo -
re re-installing it.
Drain the fuel tank (out in the
open air only) and service the en -
gine as described in the engine
handbook.
Inflate tyres according to the spe -
cifications on the tyre walls. If ty -
res have no specifications on the
tyre walls, inflate to a pressure of
0.9 bar.
Store the mower in a clean, dry
room.

Warranty

The warranty terms issued by our
company or importer are valid in
every country.
Faults will be repaired free of charge
within the framework of the guaran -
tee, provided that they have been
caused by a material defect or
manufacturing error. Should you
need to call upon the warranty, ple -
ase apply to the vendor of your
machine or to the nearest agency.
