7.3.5. State LEDs, Monitors, Alarms/Warnings
This area displays in real time the system states, the relevant quantities being monitored and the operating
conditions of the generator
State LEDs
The virtual LED indicators shown in the figure provide information on the operating state of the system and on any
actions performed by the regulation.
The following table provides the instructions required to properly read the information provided by the state LEDs.
LED
STATE OFF
START
START physical contact open
D-Vo is not supplying excitation.
STOP
STOP state not active
D-Vo can supply excitation.
RAISE
RAISE physical contact open
or
RAISE virtual button released
No action performed.
LOWER
LOWER physical contact open
or
LOWER virtual button released
No action performed.
PAR
PAR physical contact open
No action performed.
PF/VAR
PF/VAR physical contact open
No action performed.
VMATCH
VMATCH physical contact open
No action performed.

STATE ON
START physical contact closed
•
If the STOP physical contact is open
(STOP LED off), D-Vo is supplying
excitation.
•
If the STOP physical contact is closed,
even just on a jog basis, and the START
and STOP LEDs are both on, D-Vo is not
supplying excitation.
STOP state active
D-Vo cannot supply excitation.
The LED turns to ON when the STOP physical
contact is closed (even on a jog basis) and
stays ON until the START physical contact is
opened.
RAISE physical contact closed
or
RAISE virtual button pressed
If the active operating mode allows it
(Paragraph 4.5), the setpoint is increased.
LOWER physical contact closed
or
LOWER virtual button pressed
If the active operating mode allows it
(Paragraph 4.5), the setpoint is decreased.
PAR physical contact closed
D-Vo is operating in Droop compensation
mode (in parallel with other generators).
PF/VAR physical contact closed
D-Vo is operating in PF or VAR regulation
mode (in parallel with the grid).
VMATCH physical contact closed
D-Vo is running the Voltage Matching
function.
