Do not transport the compressor if it is connected to
electrical power or if the air jet is under pressure. Before
connecting the compressor to the power source, make
sure that the pressure sensor switch is in the OFF
position.
7
Proper storing of the compressor
When the compressor is not used, store it in a dry place
protected from climatic influences. Keep the appliance
out of reach of children.
8
Place of work
Keep the place of your work clean and remove any
unnecessary tools. Make sure the place of your work is
properly ventilated. Do not use the compressor near
flammable liquids or gases – compressor may spark
when operated. Do not use the compressor in an
environment with paints, petrol, chemicals, glues or
other flammable and explosive materials.
9
Keep out of reach of children
Make sure children or other persons touch the
compressor power cord; it is necessary to make sure
that all unauthorised persons stay in a safe distance
from the place of work.
10
Working clothing

caught by the moving parts of the appliance. Wear
protective headphones if necessary.
11
Appropriate using of the power cord
Do not unplug the appliance by cable. Keep the power
cord in a sufficient distance from sources of heat, oil and
sharp edges. Do not step on the cable and make sure it
does not break.
12
Careful maintenance of the compressor
Follow the compressor lubrication instructions (not
applicable to oil-free compressors). Check the power
cord at regular intervals. If defective, have it repaired or
replaced in a customer service centre. Make sure that
the outside of the compressor does not show any visible
damage. If so, please contact the nearest customer
service centre.
13
Outdoor use
If the compressor is used outdoors, extension cables for
outdoor use with appropriate marking may only be used.
Caution: adequate cable cross-section (at least 1.5
mm) must be used; there may be problems with the
appliance starting when cables of more than 10 m
are used at unfavourable temperatures.
14
Attention
Work carefully and cautiously. Do not use the
compressor if you are tired. If the compressor cannot be
used under the influence of alcohol, drugs or
pharmaceuticals that may be the cause of tiredness.
15
Check the components for defects or untightness
If any protective equipment or other parts of the
compressor have been damaged, it is necessary to
check it before putting the appliance into operation again
and make sure that the operation will be reliable.
Check the direction adjustment of the moving parts,
lines, pressure control valve, compressed air
connections and all other construction elements
important for common operation of the compressor. Any
damaged parts must be repaired or replaced in a service
shop or as specified in the Operating Instructions.
Do not use the compressor if the pressure sensor is
defective.
1.
Use the compressor only for works mentioned in
these Operating Instructions
The compressor is an appliance producing compressed
air. Never use the compressor for works not mentioned
in these Operating Instructions.
2.
Appropriate use of the compressor
When operating the compressor, please follow all
instructions contained in this document. Do not let
children or persons not familiarised with the way the
appliance works use the compressor.
3.
Check whether all screws and covers are tightened
Check whether all screws and labels are mounted
properly. Check whether they are tightened at regular
intervals.
4.
Keep the ventilation louver clean
Keep the engine ventilation louver clean. Clean it at
regular intervals if the compressor is used in a heavily
polluted environment.
5.
Use the compressor under rated voltage
Use the compressor under the voltage specified on the
label with electric details. If the compressor is used at
voltage higher than the nominal value, the engine may
get overheated.
6.
Do not use the compressor if defective
If the compressor makes weird sounds or vibrates
heavily or seems to be defective in any other way when
being operated, it must be stopped immediately; have
the cause identified in the nearest customer service
centre
7.
Do not clean the plastic parts with solvents
Solvents such as petrol, thinners, diesel oil or other
substances containing alcohol may damage the plastic
parts of the compressor. Therefore, do not clean the
plastic parts with these substances but use soap suds
or appropriate liquids instead if necessary.
8.
Original spare parts to be used only
Claims arising from the warranty will not apply if spare
parts of other manufacturers are used. Using other
spare parts may lead to compressor malfunction. The
original spare parts can be obtained from our
authorised dealers.
9.
Do not make any change to the compressor

Apply the first aid adequate to the injury and get qualified
medical assistance as quickly as possible. Protect the injured
person from more accidents and calm him/her down.
For the sake of eventual accident, in accordance with DIN
13164, a workplace has to be fitted with a first-aid kit. It is
essential to replace any used material in the first-aid kit
immediately after it has been used. If you seek help, state
the following pieces of information:
1. Accident site
2. Accident type
3. Number of injured persons
4. Injury type(s)
Disposal
Disposal instructions are illustrated in the form of pictograms
on the device or packaging. Description of the pictograms is
given in "Identification" chapter.
Disposal of transport packaging
Packaging protects the device against damage during
transport. Packaging materials are usually selected according
to their effect on environment and disposal methods and can
therefore be recycled.
Returning of the packaging back to circulation saves
resources and costs for packaging disposal.
Parts of the packaging (e.g. foil, styropor) may be dangerous
for children. Risk of suffocation!
Keep these parts of the packaging out of reach of children
and dispose as soon as possible.
