4. QUICK COMMISSIONING

4.1. Powering on the installation

Powering on the installation.
The "POWER" indicator light flashes slowly.
4.2. Memorising the Keygo io remote controls for

complete opening mode - Fig. 13

If this procedure is carried out using a channel which has already been
memorised, this channel will be cleared.
1) Press the "PROG" button for 2 s.
The "PROG" indicator light is permanently lit.
2) Press the outer le and right buttons on the remote control
simultaneously until the indicator light flashes.
3) Press the button of the remote control that will open the gate fully.
The "PROG" indicator light flashes for 5 s.
The remote control has been memorised.

4.3. Gate travel auto-programming - Fig. 14

Auto-programming is used to adjust the gate's speed, maximum torque
and slowing zones.
NB
• Auto-programming is a mandatory step in commissioning the
drive.
• During auto-programming, the obstacle detection function is not
active. Remove any objects or obstacles, and do not allow any
persons near or inside the operating range of the drive.
• During auto-programming, pressing the "SET", "+" or "-" button
interrupts auto-programming.
• During auto-programming, the safety inputs are active.
• During auto-programming, the radio controls are inactive.
The opening and closing slowing zones are set to a default distance of
about 50 cm.
The gate must not encounter any resistance point in the slowing zone.
NB
Once installation is complete, it is essential to check that the
obstacle detection system complies with Annex A of the standard
EN 12 453.
Check the motor rotation direction
1) Press and hold the "SET" button for 2 s.
The "POWER" indicator light flashes quickly.
2) Press and hold the "+" button to open the gate.
If the gate closes, press the "+" and "-" buttons at the same time.
The operating directing is reversed.
Start auto-programming
3) Press and hold the "-" button to close the gate. The gate must be rest-
ing against the closure end stop.
4) Press the "SET" button to start auto-programming:
• The gate opens at reduced speed until it reaches the opening stop on
the ground.
• The gate closes at nominal speed then reduced speed until it reaches
the closed position.
• The gate opens at nominal speed then reduced speed until it reaches
the open position.
• The gate closes at nominal speed then reduced speed until it reaches
the closed position.
Programming is complete. The "POWER" indicator is permanently lit.

5.2. Obstacle detection operation

• Obstacle detection when closing = stop + complete reopening.
• Obstacle detection when opening = stop + reversal.

5.3. Photoelectric cells operation

• Cells obscured when opening = the status of the cells is disregarded
and the gate continues to move.
• Cells obscured when closing = stop + complete reopening.

5.4. Safety edge operation

• Activation of the safety edge when closing = stop + complete reo-
pening
• Activation of the safety edge when opening = stop + reversal

5.6. User training

All users must be trained in how to safely use this motorised gate (standard
use and unlocking principle) and in the mandatory periodic checks.
