MAIN USER AND MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS
Removing the fairing
Some parts of the motorcycle fairing have to be removed
for certain maintenance or repair operations.
Warning
If parts that have been removed are not re-attached
correctly or secured properly, they may come loose
suddenly while riding and cause you to lose control of your
motorcycle.
Important
When re-assembling, always fit nylon washers when
tightening fastening screws, so as not to damage the
paintwork or the Plexiglas windshield on the headlamp
fairing.
Side body panels
Remove the four quick fasteners and ring (3) securing the
body panels to the frame.
On the right side, open the compartment with the tool kit,
and take the Allen key for body panels and remove the
following:
the two screws (1) securing the body panels to the
brackets;
the two screws (2) securing the body panels to the
headlamp fairing;
the two screws (4) under the panels, which join the right
panel to the left panel.
