Starting the homogenization

1. Close the cover of the unit. It provides noise reduction
and protects the user from being injured by shaking
flasks, which may be flung-off the holder if not
mounted properly, especially at high shaking
frequencies.
2. Close the cover and the clamps which fix the cover
(see fig. 1, pos. 6).
Only use the Mikro-Dismembrator S with the cover
closed. Opening the cover activates a safety switch,
which interrupts the operation.
The safety switch must not be disabled!
3. Press the [START] key to start operation with the preset
values. The unit runs for the preset time or
continuously. Pressing the [STOP] key will interrupt the
operation. New values will only be accepted after
pressing the [ENTER] key.
4. You will see the remaining running time on the display
counting down to zero, when the unit is switched to
"Timer-Mode". When switched to the "Frequency-
Mode" you will see the actual shaking frequency on the
display. You can switch-over between the two modes
with either key [ ] or [
5. The Mikro-Dismembrator S starts when you press the
[ENTER] key. For changing an active shaking frequency
or time value, press the [STOP] key, enter the new value,
confirm with the [ENTER] key and press the [START] key
to restart the unit.
