The SIPAN 32 may only be retrofitted with the PROFIBUS PA options
module at the SIEMENS factory in Haguenau or on site by trained
maintenance personnel.
Retrofitting of the SIPAN 32 with the options module PROFIBUS PA Ex
is done exclusively at the SIEMENS factory in Haguenau.
A retrofit kit contains a PROFIBUS PA options module, an M12 male
connector and the retrofitting instructions. A mating connector (M12
female) is not included in the retrofit kit but can be ordered additionally.
