10. To switch the device on, select a speed with the speed selector switch:
P Pulse function for short processing bursts
To use the pulse function: Hold the switch in the P position and release it to
interrupt the processing. The switch will automatically fl ip back to position 0.
0 Standby
1 – 2 Low speeds
3 – 4 Moderate speeds
5 – 6 High speeds
ATTENTION! Only use speeds 1 – 3 when using the dough hook!
11. If you would like to add more food, use the opening in the lid of the stirring bowl to do
so. Attention! Do not reach through the opening in the lid with your fi ngers!
12. If you want to turn off the device, set the speed selector switch to position 0 and pull
the mains plug out of the socket.
Risk of injury! Always wait until the stirrer, the whisk or dough hook have come
to a complete stop before moving the mixing arm to the top position.
13. Push the release lever down and move the mixing arm to the top position.
14. Turn the insert clockwise and pull it off to remove it.
15. Turn the mixing bowl clockwise and remove it.
16. After use, pull the mains plug out of the socket.
Using the stand mixer
1. Take the cover off of the main unit by pulling it back.
2. Place the mixing container on the motor unit.
3. Fill the mixing container with food you would like to chop, purée or mix.
4. Place the lid on the mixing container and push it until closed. Also place the ml meas-
uring cup in the lid.
5. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed socket that is easily accessible.

10. Put the cover back in the main unit.
