Contra-
The bed is not suitable for use in the following situations:

The maximum recommended patient weight is 185kg
(407 lbs).
The safe working load (SWL) of the bed is 250kg (550 lbs).
The safe working load is calculated as follows (in accordance
with IEC 60601-2-52:2009):
Maximum patient weight............................ 185kg (407 lbs)
Mattress ....................................................... 20kg (44 lbs)
Accessories (including attached loads) ......... 45kg (99 lbs)

WARNING
If the combined weight of the mattress and accessories exceeds
65kg, the maximum patient weight must be reduced accordingly.
The recommended patient height is between 146cm (57 ins.)
and 190cm (74 ins.).
At the discretion of the caregiver, patients taller than 190cm
(74 ins.) may be accommodated by extending the bed - refer
to "Bed length adjustment" on page 19. Ensure that the
patient's height does not exceed the In-bed length shown on
page 59.
• A domestic area, i.e. home healthcare.
• Outpatient care.
• By adult patients under 40kg (88 lbs) in weight.
• By children under 12 years old.
