5.10.2 Filling the water boiler
Basic setting
1. Fill the water boiler 6 as described in "Section 4.3" page 58.
2. Press the cover 5 down until it audibly snaps into place.
It may take several minutes for the error message E0 (= water boiler
•
6 is empty/not in appliance) to extinguish.
➥ Treatment will then continue automatically.
If the error message E0 does not extinguish, see "Section 7" page 75.

for a new treatment
1. Switch off appliance at the ON/OFF switch c.
After the end of treatment, remove the power plug f as described in
•
"Section 4.5.2" page 60.
2. Clean the appliance as described in "Section 6" page 70.
3. Prepare for a new treatment as described in "Section 4" page 57.
1WARNING
Hot steam – risk of scalding
• The water boiler 6 is hot when removed from the appli-
ance. The lid of the water boiler 6 will protect your hand
from any hot steam that might escape.
• Only remove the water boiler 6 from the appliance by gra-
sping the handle 1!
NOTE
Fill within 5 minutes
• After 5 minutes the appliance adopts the basic setting.
• For this reason, the water boiler 6 must be filled within 5
minutes and reinserted into the appliance; otherwise, the
current treatment will be stopped and cannot be continued.
