Potential operational side effects
• The appliance works using hot steam. Depending on room tempera-
ture, the customer's sitting position, the position of the appliance and
the lens material, some customers' glasses may fog up. PLEASE NOTE,
fogged up glasses impede your customers' vision.
• Peroxide haircolour treatments release ammonia. The steam under
the steam dome of the appliance can increase sensitivity to the unple-
asant ammonia odours:
– We recommend you open the ventilation flap 1 during peroxide
haircolour treatments and when bleaching.
– Please also check that the steam dome 4 is correctly positioned
(see "Section 5.1" page 61).
– In isolated cases, highly sensitive customers' eyes may water or
sting. In such instances, we recommend stopping treatment with the
appliance and using the Climazon
• The water boiler 6 contains small ceramic pieces 7 for reducing
water boiler limescale.
– When the appliance is heating up, these ceramic pieces 7 make an
audible rustling sound.
– This noise is not a fault in the appliance and poses no danger
whatsoever.
• The ceramic pieces 7 remove any limescale residues that build up in
the water boiler 6.
– If the water boiler 6 is not rinsed out regularly, these limescale
residues are visible on the surface of the water in the form of white
particles.
– These particles do not affect the appliance's function and are there-
fore not harmful.
– We recommend you rinse out the water boiler 6 once a day with
clean water.
