Manual operation
5.6.1 Setting the treatment time
1. Select the required treatment time using the time buttons p:
•
"10" button: input in 10-minute increments,
•
"1" button: input in 1-minute increments.
➥ The display q shows the selected treatment time.
5.6.2 Setting the treatment temperature
2. Select the required temperature level using the Plus/Minus buttons

➥ The display s shows the selected temperature level on the 5-level
temperature scale.
Deselecting a programme / returning to basic setting:

If required, the chosen settings can be deleted and the appliance retur-
ned to the basic setting using the CLEAR button x.
➥ The treatment is stopped.
5.6.3 Starting treatment
1. Press the START button v.
➥ Preheating phase: the temperature symbol t lights up (approx. 2
minutes).
➥ The display q shows the remaining treatment time.
Pressing the START button v again will display the already expired
•
treatment time (MEMO function).
➥ The Ion button w is lit up – ionization is switched on.
Pressing the Ion button w switches off ionization.
•
➥ The indicator light on the Ion button w goes out.
Pressing the Ion button w again switches ionization on once more.

1CAUTION
Damaging the hair
• The development time of the products also depends on the
treatment temperature selected and must be taken into
account by the qualified hairdresser when deciding on the
temperature level according to the product used.
• You should always keep an eye on the treatment result
already achieved.
