Positioning appliance for customer

After preparing the appliance as described in "Section 4" page 57, the
treatment can commence.
To set up and position the appliance, it can be tilted up to 12 degrees at the
tilting joint i with infinitely variable adjustment.
Position appliance:
1. Adjust appliance to required height.
• Position the appliance centrally over the forehead/nape of the neck so
that the steam dome 4 completely covers the customer's hair.
The face and eyes must be outside the steam dome 4.
•
To ensure customer comfort:
Show your customers how they can adjust treatment and temperature
themselves.
1. By opening the ventilation flap 1:
– the temperature around the forehead can be reduced,
– odours arising during colour treatment can be more effectively ext-
racted from the steam dome 4.
We recommend you open the ventilation flap 1 fully during per-
–
oxide haircolour treatments and when bleaching (see "Section 2.3"
page 49).
– Inform your customers that their glasses may fog up during treatment.
– Please note, fogged up glasses impede your customers' vision (see
"Section 2.3" page 49).
2. The treatment can be interrupted by the customer by pushing the
steam dome 4 upwards with both hands and moving out of the ap-
pliance to the front.
