5.8 Changing the treatment settings
The settings for the treatment time and temperature can be changed prior
to or during treatment in manual and programmed operation.
Please note that to ensure effective treatment the treatment time for the
programmes Treatment 2 (Colour) and Treatment 3 (Bleach) should not be
less than 15 minutes.
5.8.1 Changing the treatment time
1. Select the required treatment time using the time buttons p:
• "10" button: input in 10-minute increments,
• "1" button: input in 1-minute increments.
Example:
• A treatment time of 20 minutes has been entered.
• After 10 minutes, the treatment period is increased by 20 minutes.
➥ The display q shows the total treatment time remaining: 10 minutes
+ the extension of 20 minutes = 30 minutes.
Pressing the START button v again will display the already expired
•
treatment time (Memo function).
The total treatment time is limited to 60 minutes for safety reasons.
• If the max. treatment time of 60 minutes is exceeded during input, 5
short warning tones are heard.
