Sudden release of spring arm (only wall-mounted version)
• The spring arm of the wall-mounted version contains a pow-
erful spring. When the appliance is dismantled, the spring
arm is suddenly released upwards and may cause serious
injury.
• The appliance may only be mounted / dismantled by a
specialist (electrician, technical expert) or staff with a compa-
rable qualification according to the valid instructions.
Sudden drop of spring arm (only wall-mounted version)
• Do not place any additional loads on the wall arm z.

Risk of injury in case of damage / restrictions in function
This appliance may not be used under any circumstances if:
• the mains cable e or the power plug f is damaged,
• it is not functioning properly,
• it has been dropped or damaged,
• it has fallen into water,
• liquid or foreign bodies have got inside the appliance.
The appliance must be inspected and repaired by a Wella-
authorised Customer Service Centre in each of the above
cases.

Risk of injury from improper repair
The appliance may only be opened and repaired by Wella
Customer Service:
• Repairs to electrical appliances may only be carried out by
qualified electricians.
• During repair work, electrical appliances must be tested to
ensure they are carrying no current and precautions taken to
ensure they cannot be switched on accidentally.
• Appliance with type Y attachment: If the mains cable of this
appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufactu-
rer or its Customer Service or by a similarly qualified person
so as to prevent hazards.
