Ionization

Ionization is automatically activated when the appliance is turned on:
If the indicator light on the Ion button w is lit up, ionization mode is ac-
tivated.
As desired, ionization can be switched off by pressing the Ion button w.
Pressing the Ion button w again switches ionization on once more.
In manual and programmed operation:
Ionization starts up after a 5-minute delay. Thereafter ions are emitted in-
termittently.
During after-treatment time:
If ionization was switched on during prior treatment, ionization begins on-
ce more without the 5-minute delay.

Rules when working

To ensure safe operation of the appliance – and to protect you and your
clients from harm – the safety instructions in section 2 must be read and
followed when using the appliance.
If you have not yet read section 2, please read the safety instructions now
before using the appliance.
5.5.1 Important information on treatment time and temperature
• You, the qualified hairdresser, are responsible for the selected treat-
ment time and temperature.
• The development time of the products also depends on the treatment
temperature selected and must be taken into account by you, a quali-
fied hairdresser, when deciding on the temperature level according to
the product used.
– Please also take note of the manufacturer's instructions for the pro-
ducts used.
– Please remember that heat may change the development times of the
products.
5.5.2 Monitoring treatment progress
• You should always keep an eye on the treatment result already achie-
ved.
