Programmed operation

The three programmes automatically control the treatment temperature
and time for a specific treatment result. The settings can be changed at any
time as described in "Section 5.8" page 66.

5.7.1 Selecting a programme
1. Use the programme buttons l, m, n to select the required treat-
ment (e.g.: programme button l = Treatment 1 = Care).
➥ By pressing the programme button l, the programme abbreviation
CA appears in the display q.
➥ The preset treatment time of 10 minutes is shown in the display q.
➥ The display s shows the preset end temperature level 4 (progres-
sion of temperature not shown).
➥ The Ion button w is lit up – ionization is switched on.
Pressing the Ion button w switches off ionization.
➥ The indicator light on the Ion button w goes out.
Deselecting a programme / returning to basic setting:
Basic setting
With the CLEAR button x the appliance adopts the basic setting.
➥ The selected programme is deselected.
➥ The treatment is stopped.

Recommended for care (Hair care)
Treatment time: 10 minutes.
Temperature: Constant temperature at level 4
for whole of treatment or
the selected temperature if another temperature level was
selected manually as described in "Section 5.8.2" page 67.

Recommended for colouring (Colour)
Treatment time: 20 minutes.
Temperature: 3 mins temperature rising to level 4;
Remainder of time: level 4 (preset) or
the selected temperature if another temperature level was
selected manually as described in "Section 5.8.2" page 67.

Recommended for lightening / bleaching (Bleach)
Treatment time: 30 minutes.
Temperature: 8 mins constant low temperature;
5 mins temperature rising to level 3;
Remainder of time: level 3 (preset) or
the selected temperature if another temperature level was
selected manually as described in "Section 5.8.2" page 67.
