1.4.1 Cleaning the fluff screen R
The fluff screen (6) which is located in the
air inlet grille (5) must be cleaned regularly,
in order to guarantee that the heat storage
unit will discharge heat perfectly.
If the fluff screen is blocked, the fans will
switch off.
To clean the screen, apply the following pro-
cedure:

usually high housing temperature
even in mild weather?

– Pull the air inlet grill of the lower part for-
ward from the catch spring and take it off
by raising it from the upper lock
– Press the fluff screen out of the grille, using
a screwdriver for example, and clean it with
a brush, vacuum cleaner, or similar;
– Insert the fluff screen back in the grille, and
allow it to engage it over the burled edges;
– Hook in the upper edge of the air inlet grill
into the locking screws of the air-channel-
group, than push it on to the lower catch-
springs.

fuses concerned in your fusebox are defec-
tive, or whether the e.l.c.b. (earth-leakage
circuit-breaker) has tripped.
Rectify the cause.
If the storage heater has still not heated
up on the following day, call the qualified
installer.
Check whether the . . .

blower fan is being switched on by the
room temperature sensor.
If not, call the qualified installer.
. . . fluff trap in the air intake grille is blocked.
Rectify this as under Point 1.4.1.

1.5 Important note

Keep these Instructions in a safe
place, and give them to the next oc-
cupant if you move house.
In the event of any maintenance work being
carried out, allow the qualified installer to
inspect it.

page 3) in the air outlet has switched off.
. . . control signal Z1 of the discharge control
unit at terminal A1/Z1 is present in the sto-
rage heater.
