13. Adjusting the Material
Volume
The material quantity is set
i
depending on the characteristics
of the material (viscosity) and the
working speed of the operator.
This setting is performed by adjusting
the material flow limiter (fig. 14, 1) from 1
(minimum) to 12 (maximum).
We recommend starting with a
i
low material flow setting and then
gradually adjusting this to suit needs.

14. Setting the Amount of Air

Depending on the viscosity of the
i
material to be sprayed and the
finish of the object to be coated,
it may be advisable to vary the
amount of air. Very low viscosity
materials, such as watery glazes
do not have to be atomised with
the maximum amount of air. In this
case it is advisable to reduce the
amount of air and thus minimize
the spray vapour.
This also applies for the use of the
low-scale and radiator/detail spray
attachment (accessory).
Turn the air quantity regulator (fig. 15, 1) until
the level you want is above the arrow.
