There is a kink in the material
hose
•
The material is too thick and is
blocking the hose

Nozzle clogged

Material volume too large

Container empty

Suction hose is blocked

The suction hose is not in the
paint

The pressure reducer is
clogged up

Pump is defect

Nozzle loose
•
Nozzle worn
•
Nozzle seal is missing or worn
•
Coating material assembly at
air cap, nozzle or needle
•
Coating material too thick
•
Material volume too large
•
Nozzle contaminated

Air filter heavily soiled

Amount of air too low

Remedy
•
Remove kink
•
Follow the instructions in
chapter 20 until the spray
attachment is hooked
over the paint container
(Fig. 25). Next, switch on
the pump and leave it
running until the material
emerges evenly (this can
take several minutes).
Thin the material as
required. Continue with
the start-up operation in
chapter 10.
