Column wiring

The PC is connected to the column via a RJ45 cross-over cable (direct link) or with RJ45 straight
cable using a switch.
Step 1:
An RJ45 cross-over cable is recognized as follows:
Take the two ends of the cable, extrusions facing down
Green: terminal n°2
Orange: terminal n°6
Note: If the cable is a crossover cable, the position of the green and orange wires will be reversed for
the two connectors
Step 2:
Connect the PC to the column.
Step 3:
Check that the column is powered
