NOTE 1: the left display will be turned off
if the selected program is ALU 2P because
the balancing weight to be applied is
of traditional spring type, so it must be
applied in the position corresponding to
12 o'clock.
NOTE 2: the figure 25 will be not displayed
and the continuous beep will be not heard
if the tyre will be not placed in the correct
position.
Fig. 23: Search for the balancing planes:
the left display indicates to move the
sensor forward (move it to the right) to
find the exact internal position of the
balancing planes
Fig. 24: Search for the balancing planes:
the left display indicates to move the
sensor back (move it to the left) to find the
exact internal position of the balancing
planes
Fig. 25: Search for the balancing planes:
the left display indicates that the sensor
is exactly on the internal balancing plane
5. Lock the Distance and Diameter sensor
at this distance,
6. Rotate the end of the measuring sensor
until the weight adhesive strip is in line

with the rim surface.
7. Press the button (fig. 26d) to eject the
weight and make it stick to the rim.
8. Return the measuring arm to the rest
position (fig. 26e).
9. repeat the operations to apply the
second balancing weight
10.perform a test wheel spin to check the
balancing accuracy.
If you have to balance an identical wheel,
it is possible to skip the data acquisition
of the balancing planes and perform
immediately with the balancing spin
and then with the search for balancing
planes. The balancing planes used for
the calculation will be the same as stored
before by the machine.

MANUALLY APPLIED ADHESIVE
WEIGHTS
1 Select the first side to be balanced.
2 turn the wheel until the central element
of the corresponding position indicator
lights up.
3 apply the adhesive weight manually in
the position in which the relative plane
was measured, using the centre of gravity
of the weight itself as reference. In this
phase, one display shows the imbalance
value of the side to be balanced in the
correct position of application as shown
in Figure 26a.
